The Ayurvedic Resort & Hospital Management System is a web application designed to streamline operations for an Ayurvedic center that manages both a resort and a hospital. It helps administrators, doctors, and staff efficiently handle bookings, patient records, treatment schedules, and overall facility management. The goal is to enhance workflow efficiency, reduce manual effort, and provide a seamless experience for both wellness guests and medical patients.

Problem

Managing both a resort and a hospital under a single system was challenging for the Ayurvedic center. The existing workflow relied on manual processes, disconnected systems, and inefficient coordination between departments. This led to:

  • Difficulty in handling bookings, patient records, and treatment schedules.
  • Inefficiencies in staff coordination and facility management.
  • Increased chances of errors and miscommunication.

Solution

The Ayurvedic Resort & Hospital Management System was designed to centralize operations and provide an intuitive platform for administrators, doctors, and staff. The web application enables:

  • Seamless booking management for both resort guests and hospital patients.
  • Efficient patient record handling with quick access to medical history and treatment plans.
  • Optimized staff coordination, reducing manual effort and improving workflow.
  • A user-friendly interface that simplifies complex tasks, ensuring better usability.

This solution enhances efficiency, accuracy, and user experience, making day-to-day management smoother and more effective.

Design Process

To create a seamless and user-friendly experience for the Ayurvedic Resort & Hospital Management System, I followed a structured UI and Interaction Design process:

  • Conducted discussions with stakeholders to understand the needs of administrators, doctors, and staff.
  • Analyzed existing workflows to identify pain points and inefficiencies.
  • Mapped out the core functionalities and structured the navigation for intuitive access.
  • Designed user flows for key tasks like booking management, patient record handling, and staff coordination.
  • Created low-fidelity wireframes to outline the layout and structure.
  • Developed interactive prototypes to test usability and refine interactions.
  • Designed a clean, professional interface with easy navigation and clear visual hierarchy.
  • Ensured the UI aligned with the Ayurvedic theme, using calming colors and intuitive layouts.
  • Provided detailed design specifications and assets for seamless development.
  • Worked closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of the design.

As the UI and Interaction Designer, I was responsible for designing the entire application to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience. My key contributions included:

  • User Research & Understanding Needs – Analyzed the workflow of administrators, doctors, and staff to create a user-centric design.
  • Wireframing & Prototyping – Developed low-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes to map out user journeys.
  • Designing Intuitive Interfaces – Created a clean, modern UI that enhances usability and reduces complexity in daily operations.
  • Improving User Interactions – Focused on smooth navigation, efficient workflows, and easy access to key functionalities.
  • Collaborating with Developers – Worked closely with the development team to ensure a seamless implementation of the designs.
